About
We are having an all-day cultural event in the Kerry Vickar Centre, Melfort. Activities will include many displays/exhibits that are of specific cultures, eg. Scottish, German, Ukrainian, Indigenous, etc. We will also feature an Ethnic Cafe with a menu of dishes from various cultures. We will have interactive craft workshops, eg. quilting, painting. We will have a Photo Booth for people to dress in costumes, incl. National Dress. We are setting up a Storywalk with an Indigenous children's book as well as a Cultural Scavenger Hunt throughout the building where they need to find things that are on display. Some cultural groups plan an Artisan Market.

CULTURE DAYS MELFORT Committee
For the very first Culture Days, this committee was established as an umbrella committee inclusive of representatives from various city, arts & crafts, and cultural organizations in Mefort. The Museum Curator/Cultural Coordinator for the City of Melfort assumed leadership as the adminstrator. We have participated in every Culture Days and have reached out for a more diversified representation of cultures represented in Melfort (and area). The committee meets throughout the year for planning, budgeting, follow-up and recommendations, etc.
