About

Ana will talk about which plants to choose to make an herbal apothecary garden that is both beautiful and useful throughout the year. Her programs combine science, history and practical recommendations on how to grow and harvest plants. From her perspective, herbs are unusual beauties with the power to cure. Medicinal plants offer us diversity of shape and colour, as well as refined aromas. At first glance, medicinal plants may not be as bright as ornamental ones. But when you know each plant in your garden, you become a good magician who can bring health and happiness to your loved ones. Everyone who attends will have a chance to win a great door prize!

Ana Dushyna is a botanical pharmacology specialist, Master of Science in pharmacy, speaker, certified landscaper and herbal garden designer. She devotes her expertise to encouraging people across Canada to grow and use well-researched medicinal plants from all around the world.
