When you visit the studio at PatsPots.Art you will find a working pottery studio. It is never clear of clay mess everywhere ;) There is usually something drying, waiting to go in the kiln. There are containers of tools, shelves of equipment, buckets of water and reclaimed clay. My clothes and windows usually have clay spattered somewhere. The wheel is a very old kick wheel with a noisy motor, but it works for me. The very best things about this studio are the wonderful view of my garden from six opening windows and the fact that this tiny space is really well organized so that everything has a place and I know where each thing can be found. So, if you find it fascinating to see where a creative process takes place, come on by during the studio tour at 146 Manse Alley.
