About

Pick up a “canvas” from The Pas Friendship Centre (Ring the back doorbell of 81 Edwards Avenue located in the Town Offices parking lot).

All canvases are numbered and artists names are recorded, so all of them must come back to us.

Please use acrylic paint to create your masterpiece. These will be sealed to protect them from the elements and later arranged into a public mural for the community to enjoy.

Please remember this mural is intended for everyone. Any canvases returned with derogatory or offensive content will not be displayed.

The Pas Friendship Centre Inc.

The Pas Friendship Centre Inc. helps to meet the needs of the Indigenous community through services such as counseling, referral, translation, advocacy and assistance through government and non government agencies. It is dedicated to promoting the harmony and understanding between people of diverse cultural backgrounds.

Recreational activities include things such as art workshops, holiday programming, and The Pas Friendship Centre 4-H Youth Club. Other programs include cultural workshops, employment training, rental programs, social service information sessions, and language classes.

Standard programs include Partners for Careers, youth programming including the 4-H Club mentioned above, Homeless Outreach Mentorship, Community Navigator, and general in-house and community programming.
