Tri-Cities Local Immigration Partnership and Coquitlam Public Library

The Tri-Cities Local Immigration Partnership (TCLIP) brings community leaders and organizations together to review the needs of its newest residents and identify means to facilitate immigrant settlement and integration. The ultimate goal of the TCLIP is to develop welcoming and inclusive communities where both long term residents and newcomers feel a sense of belonging and attachment.

Coquitlam Public Library is a growing library system in the northeast sector of Metro Vancouver. It serves a population of 139,300 and has approximately 61,000 active card holders. Established in 1976, it is funded with taxes raised in the community it serves as well as a Government of BC operating grant. The Library Board consists of ten members. CPL’s mission is “to engage its diverse community through creativity, discovery and knowledge.”
