About
The Blacksmith Shop was once the heart of all local manufacturing. Understanding metal, heat, and persuasion are the keys to the art of the blacksmith. Fort Dauphin Museum has a wonderful blacksmith shop and extensive collection of blacksmith tools. In addition, a gifted and dedicated smith loves to share his knowledge of the art. Dennis will be on hand throughout the day and will be demonstrating this fascinating art form. Come with questions and learn about the wonders of working with iron.
Organizer
Dauphin Culture Days Committee
Dauphin Culture Days is put on each year by the creative folks at the Watson Art Centre, the Dauphin Public Library, the Dauphin Art Group, Countryfest Community Cinema, and just about any other creative person or group we can cajole into playing along with us. We know that creativity is at the heart of humans of all ages and our goal is to get our town to create, participate, and share.
