About
Scribbly Doodle is a Canadian beatboxer, vocal looper, and one-man variety show. As a former World Beatbox Championship competitor and the 2025 North American Beatbox Championship runner-up, Jesse combines technical skill with creativity to transform the human voice into full musical soundscapes.
In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how to:
• Build drum beats, bass lines, and melodies using nothing but their voice
• Layer sounds live using a loop station to create full songs in real time
• Explore vocal sound effects and textures beyond basic beatboxing
• Use rhythm and music as tools for self-expression, confidence, and community connection
Whether students are brand new to music or experienced performers, this session is designed to spark creativity, make music accessible, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.
This activity is offered in collaboration with Abbotsford Youth Commission.
All youth aged 12-18 are invited to attend.
