About

Concert/Lecture sessions with instruments commonly involved in chamber music: piano, violin, cello, clarinet and human voice; where attendants are expected to enjoy and admire the great color spectrum coming from different combinations of instruments, in a similar way as multiple shapes and color come up from a kaleidoscope.

Public will be encouraged to compare and identify music genres, musical instruments, the composers and instrumental combinations happening on each section. An open mic will be available to invite people of the audience to sing, make questions or share opinions.

Kaleidoscope Chamber Music is a innovative idea to put in contact dynamically audience senses, intellect and sensibility with the nature of the chamber music instruments and their multiple combinations. Such idea is coming from the internationally experienced cellist Marcela Lagunas Burgos, BMus, resident of St Catharines who is organizing five 60-min sessions with contextual explanations and performances of works from different genres, composers, nationalities, styles and instrument combinations. People from the audience will be encouraged to fill feedback forms with their comments.
