About
Island Illustrator’s Society artists explore and celebrate the arts in all forms and the integral role creativity plays in the wellness of individuals and our communities. You are invited to be part of the creative process! Take in the exhibition and take part in a hands-on collaborative art project building over three weeks in the gallery and around the community, and culminating over the Culture Days weekend. Presented in collaboration with Saanich Parks and Recreation.

The event is organized by two partners. The Island Illustrators Society fosters interest in the art of illustration. For Culture Days, Island Illustrators use their gifts to illustrate the wonder and value of all arts forms for creator and recipient. Working in partnership with the community, Saanich Parks and Recreation creates opportunities for enrichment that support health and well-being through arts and culture and other activities. In Saanich, Community Services and The Arts Centre at Cedar Hill have teamed up to help support Culture Days.
