Organizer

Brant Historical Society

The Brant Historical Society aims to collection, preserve, and share the History of Brantford, Brant County, and Six Nations. Operating since 1908 and opening the museum in 1952, we are one of the oldest historical institutions in Canada. The museum has permanent exhibits, as well as temporary exhibits including Wedding Dresses, Brantford Industry, Royal Visits, and Memories of Brantford's Italian Community. Research is also conducted through our website. Our museum's main objective over the next decade is to provide greater access to documents in the collection through our mass digitization initiative.
