About

**Due to COVID-19, This event MAY be switched from in-person to an online virtual platform, depending on guidance from local government and the venue.

Each month Local Visual Artists are invited to our Free Art Critiques, facilitated by Amy J. Dyck and sponsored by the Langley Arts Council. Artists bring their recent in-process or finished pieces to the group and we discuss what is working and what can be done to make it even more impactful and effective effective. It is a fun and energizing environment. Critiques are helpful and supportive, and all are welcome.

*IMPORTANT* You must email to reserve your place by Sept 27th. IF we meet in person, the event will be hosted at the City of Langley Library on Monday Sept 28th from 6:45 - 8:45 and numbers will be limited (first come first serve). Ask at Reception for location within the Library. If meeting online, the meeting will commence at 7pm, participants will need a mobile device and will be using Cisco Webex, a Zoom-like program.

**TO JOIN email [email protected] stating your intention and we will add your name to the mailing list for the upcoming critique.

Langley Arts Council

As a community-based arts organization, we understand that artistic expression is essential for the overall health and well-being of the community; therefore, the Langley Arts Council provides the resources and support that allow art to thrive. Our organization is continually developing new and innovative programs in a variety of artistic disciplines. This includes: visual art, 3-D art, and performing art. In addition, to provide learning opportunities and encourage all art forms, the Langley Arts Council hosts a number of events and workshops throughout the year. The art critiques are facilitated by professional artist Amy J. Dyck and run monthly through the year.
