Mohawk Chapel

Her Majesty’s Royal Chapel of the Mohawks is the oldest surviving Church in Ontario and it is the final resting place of Joseph Brant. Built in 1785, it is the last remaining structure of the original Mohawk Village settlement that was settled by Joseph Brant in 1784. The Chapel houses eight beautiful stained glass windows that depict the history of the Haudenosaunee people and their deep rooted history with the Anglican Church.
