2023 marks 50 years since the birth of Hip Hop! Join the AGH in learning about, and celebrating, this resilient and multi-faceted music genre with an all-day party featuring breakdancing demos, DJ sets, live mural painting, and an artisan market featuring BIPOC-owned Hamilton businesses.

Art Gallery of Hamilton

Founded in 1914, the Art Gallery of Hamilton is the oldest and largest art museum in the region with a permanent collection that is recognized as one of the finest in Canada. Embracing Canadian historical, international, and contemporary art, the collection consists of more than 10,000 works.
