What is "ex\in\an térieurs" ?

It is a Media Arts Performance involving the projection of 7 short films and 2 text-based films over a handmade screen composed of a metal 6' X 6' x 4' frame base and screens. The screens are made of paper which was handmade from recycled paper and cattail fibres, handmade bioplastic (gelatin and glycerin), plants, my father's old architectural blueprints, eggshell-based paste, micah and xantham gum varnish, plant-based watercolour, and old drawings.

A veejaying performance will be created live with the Resolume Arena application by Isa Michaud.

Galerie Sans Clous

For the past three years, I have been working at celebrating contemporary art and artists of many different disciplines and practices through Galerie Sans Clous, a microgallery space that I opened with the objective of presenting innovative and well-researched projects. I have set a very important goal for myself and my community, to promote francophonie through the help of the arts. For this reason, my work is created with this forgotten community in mind.

Galerie Sans Clous exhibited 13 public exhibitions and reached out over 16 000 viewers through its social media and website. It's been so rewarding to see diverse work take shape and be presented in a space so small. It's amazing what one can do with a little bit of help!!

My personal artist path began as a Visual Arts student at Algoma University where I earned a BFA in 2018. Over the past 6 years, I curated the exhibition "(dé)coupure" with four francophone local Visual Artists, I also was the inaugural Artist in Residence at the Sault Museum where I presented "Walking French Town\Une balade à French Town," and in 2023, I won the Soo Community Builder's award for the Arts category.

ex\in\an térieurs, is the result of two years of concerted effort in reinventing myself, taking risks by working on this media arts installation.
