About
Headwaters Arts Fall Festival opens up with its flagship event and exhibition, the open, juried, Art Show & Sale in the Headwaters Arts Gallery/Alton Mill Arts Centre galleries. “WE ARE HERE”. No matter where WE are from, or what WE look like or who WE are, WE are artists, and WE must create. WE have something to say. WE are still here, always creating, exploring, expanding, experimenting and collectively, our visual voices are strong.
This event is free and open to all. Attracting more than 40 Artists across Ontario, this show runs until October 2, 2022 and is free to all. Keystone events throughout the Festival include: Live music concert - Friday, September 30, 2022 under the amazing outdoor arts space called the Annex-a tented roof over the courtyard (ticketed event); and Authors in the Annex - Readings and discussion by well-known, local and seasoned, established writers/authors (ticketed event). All events offer delicious food and refreshments. Show in Gallery is open to all.

Headwaters Arts (HA) is a not-for-profit, volunteer, member-based organization that brings together the arts and artists to promote the development, appreciation, and enjoyment of all of the arts in the Hills of Headwaters region (Dufferin County, Town of Caledon and Town of Erin). We provide artists with greater exposure, recognition, marketing, sales, networking opportunities and professional development. Formed in 2008, Headwaters Arts (formerly named Headwaters Arts Festival) we operate an artist-run, 810 sq. ft Headwaters Arts Gallery, year round, in the Alton Mill Arts Centre located in the Village of Alton, in Caledon, Ontario.
We are a resource and space for arts exhibitions and information in the region. We support artists and act as a catalyst to connect them with art lovers, collectors, and promote unique opportunities for our residents and the art community. We proudly advance and champion our members’ work. We welcome all artists, students, arts organizations and arts supporters who want to promote the arts and participate in the organization and who believe in the intrinsic value of artists and the arts and that creativity inspires positive change for individuals and the community.
The Gallery at the Alton Mill Arts Centre is open from Wednesday - Sunday, and holiday Monday's from 10-5:00 pm.
