SAMM Presents: A Bharatanatyam Journey
As part of the South Asian Mommies of Milton’s Cultural Hour, experience the grace, rhythm, and storytelling of classical Indian dance with Deepti Penkar and her talented troupe, Deep in Dance. Rooted in the ancient tradition of Bharatanatyam, their performance brings to life the rich cultural heritage of South India through expressive movements, intricate footwork, and vibrant energy. A beautiful fusion of tradition and passion, this is a performance that speaks to the soul.
'Deep in Dance' group is happy to present an immersive dance experience of Bharatnatyam, the beautiful classical dance form from India. Through its characteristic rhythmic beats and beautiful expressions, the young dancers will endeavor to potray stories of the strength and beauty of "Aadi Shakti", the devine feminine power. Buckle up to enjoy this beautiful ride of 'old meets new' as the dancers traverse their way through the classical roots into the new era proving dance, rhythm and emotion are timeless and barrier free!
