About

Working on a piece of beadwork, sewing, colouring, etc., but want to do it while visiting with others? Bring your project to our drop-in makers’ space or use our beading supplies and take a lesson with us.

An experienced beading & ribbon regalia instructor will be present to teach new makers or provide guidance on current projects.

Take a Red River Metis 2-needle beading lesson or a 1-needle Cree lesson. Learn the historical and cultural meaning of this craftwork.

Tea & Coffee will be provided.

The Pas Community Renewal Corporation is a non-profit organization that strives through advocacy, capacity building, provision of knowledge and sustainable funding from various sources to challenge and empower residents of The Pas, Rural Municipality of Kelsey, and Opaskwayak Cree Nation, Manitoba.

TPCRC also administers the TPCRC Community Small Grants Program.
