Sault Ste. Marie Museum & Downtown Association

The Sault Ste. Marie Museum is a non-profit, charitable organization facilitated by the Sault Ste. Marie & 49th Field Regiment R.C.A. Historical Society for the citizens of Sault Ste. Marie and the District of Algoma, as well as visitors to the community.

The Sault Ste. Marie and 49th Field Regiment Historical Society exist to collect, preserve, study and exhibit artifacts and archival materials which illustrate the history of the people and the development of Sault Ste. Marie and immediate surrounding area, and to foster a better understanding of our local heritage and the ways in which local history relates to provincial and national history."

The Sault Ste. Marie Downtown Association aims to deliver value to its membership, be a catalyst for, and support, them in creating a self-empowered downtown that thrives through the activation of its spaces, places and people.
