About

The City of Belleville’s Glanmore National Historic Site, part of the Community Services Department, has partnered with Live History, a Governor General’s Award nominated international touring theatre company, to bring its unique blend of local history, live theatre, interactive mysteries and lots of fun to Belleville on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Live History experts will host a Build a Mystery Workshop. This hands-on workshop will use real examples from Live History shows to demonstrate types of clues and enable you to create your own custom mystery experience. The workshop is ideal for local community organizations, cultural organizations, museums, heritage groups or other interested community members who want to learn to develop their own mystery events. The workshop will take place Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 1 pm. This workshop is being offered free of charge as part of Culture Days activities. Space is limited and participants must pre-register. Glanmore National Historic Site

Glanmore National Historic Site is a restored historic home and community museum located in Belleville, Ontario. Built in 1882-1883 in a Second Empire Style of architecture, the historic house has had extensive restoration and displays original furnishings as well as European decorative objects and fine art from the Couldery Collection and artifacts of local significance from the Regional Collection. They museum is open year-round and offers a wide variety of public and educational programming.
