Directions: The playground is behind the construction site, in between Sexsmith Road and No. 3 Road, we will be on the grass.

About

Located on the grass next to the playpark, Ms Jill will lead a 30-minute storytelling and song workshop for 3-6 year olds with dynamic songs, dance, movement and fun characters. It's October so wrap up warm and bring something to sit on the grass!

IMPORTANT PARTICIPANT INFORMATION:

You must RSVP to [email protected] at least TWO hours before start time. Registration is mandatory for group size restrictions and contact tracing purposes.

IMPORTANT COVID INFORMATION:

Participants must arrive 5-10 minutes in advance to make sure they can read over the Safety Acknowledgement and Liability Waiver, and provide contact tracing information.

Group will be limited to SIX participants (unless from the same household). Masks are mandatory for all adults in attendance, and participants will be required to maintain a safe distance of more than 2 metres between groups. Parental supervision is required for all participants to maintain these safety measures, participants who are unable to follow the requirements will be asked to leave.

NB: This activity is dependant on up-to-date COVID-19 advice/restrictions and adverse weather conditions, it is subject to cancellation or to be moved online.

Jill Raymond @msjillteaches

Jill Raymond is an award-winning international performer, producer, and writer. She has performed on three continents and has worked as an actor, singer, dancer, producer, director, choreographer, and facilitator for over fifteen years.

In 2018, Jill founded her first theatre company: Direct Theatre Collective, based in Richmond, BC.

Jill is also a passionate educator and advocate of the performing arts, working with hundreds of students; predominantly in Musical Theatre and Drama/Theatre Arts.

During the COVID-19 crisis, Jill also created 'The Isolation Sessions', a project set up to embrace the opportunity to create music together digitally during this period of physical isolation.
