About
This fall, come join us for our weekly Family Open Studio, every Saturday at the AGB. Our friendly facilitators will help you create an art project inspired by our current exhibitions, P. Mansaram’s The Medium is the Medium is the Medium and Stylo Starr’s 89 Dames. All materials are provided and admission is free! All children must be accompanied by parents or adult caregivers.
*Pre-registration for a one-hour block is required. A new project will be presented each week, and a new theme will be presented each month. Our September/October theme is Print, Stamp, Repeat!
How to Participate: Choose a one-hour block of time (1 pm or 2 pm start) for your family “bubble.” Please arrive 10 minutes early on the day the program. If you are unable to attend, please reach out to us so that we can ensure another family can have your spot, as for your safety studio capacity is limited to just three families per hour. We ask that families be mindful of allowing as many community members the opportunity to attend this program as possible when reserving spots. We want to ensure you and your family have the best experience possible. We ask that all guests review our safety guidelines before arrival at the gallery.
*Please note that pre-registration is required.
Visitor Guidelines:
We are doing our utmost to create a safe environment for guests to enjoy, but the risk remains, and we ask that you consider your decision to visit the AGB carefully before you enter the building. If you feel ill or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 please stay home to prevent the spread of the virus.
The AGB is taking steps to ensure your visit is safe.
The number of visitors allowed in the AGB at once is limited to enable social distancing. Please abide by maximum visitor limits in each space as posted. Occasionally you may experience a short wait-time before you can enter a room. In compliance with the City of Burlington’s bylaws wearing a mask or face shield is mandatory. No food or drink is permitted in the gallery. Hand sanitizer is available at all entrances and exits for public use. Additional hand sanitizer stations can be found in visible locations throughout the building. All facilities, studios, exhibitions, and washrooms have a frequent regular sanitization routine (high touch zones). We disinfect electronic devices, equipment, keys (terminals, POS, etc.), items, and packaging in the shop after each use.
