FamiLEAF Exhibition Opening

Port Moody Recreation Complex

300 Ioco Road

Port Moody, BC

In-person Craft Design Painting

The community was invited to create a design on a wooden maple leaf that would be part of FamiLEAF's collaborative installation. The shape of the maple leaf is special in that it can make a tessellation—a pattern of a repeated shape that fits perfectly together like a puzzle. The name FamiLEAF was born from the idea that everyone in a community is part of one big family and that we are all connected. The maple leaf shape is also a nod to Fall when Culture Days takes place, and a symbol of Canada. Join us for the exhibition opening on September 24! FamiLEAF will be on display until October 24.

This event runs the duration of Culture Days.

This event is free.
