About
Tribal Belly dance is a modern, expressive dance form with a movement vocabulary rooted in Middle Eastern and North African dance traditions. Blending American Tribal Style (ATS) with the creativity of Tribal Fusion, which incorporates elements from flamenco, hip-hop, and contemporary dance, this style emphasizes strong posture, fluid isolations, and a strong dramatic stage presence.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of Tribal belly dance, including body isolations, elegant arm patterns, and group movement combinations. We’ll explore how to connect breath, music, and movement in a way that is both grounding and empowering. No previous experience needed. Bring your curiosity and a willingness to move!
