The Dr.Brass School Performing Arts Academy will be joining Kate Ryan, internationally acclaimed circus artist and master hula hooper, for a high-energy, skill-building workshop that’s as empowering as it is fun! With a teaching style that’s encouraging, inclusive, and performance-driven, Kate guides participants through the foundations of circus-style hooping, from single hoop tricks to dynamic hula hoop techniques.

This workshop focuses on coordination, confidence, and creativity—with plenty of laughs along the way.

While the performing arts academy students are going to train with Kate, you can also come to the show YAC presents...Kate Ryan on the following day and enjoy a fun filled evening!

The Yorkton Arts Council is a non-profit organization and registered charity founded February 1, 1966 dedicated to connecting our community to the arts. Our mission is to provide opportunities to engage in the arts through inspiration, education and entertainment. The Yorkton Arts Council’s programs include the YAC presents... concert series, Performing Arts in Schools, Sunflower Art & Craft Market, Community pARTners Gallery (located in the Yorkton Public Library), Yorkton Story Slam, Culture Days and additional performances and workshops. Yorkton Arts Council is run by a volunteer board of directors who are committed to the arts in Yorkton.
