About
Sault Ste. Marie Culture Days begins with an official opening ceremony with the Mayor, Dignitaries, and keynote address by Elizabeth Edgar-Webkamigad. The official opening then branches out to our three venues for participatory activities at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library (Feature Site), Art Gallery of Algoma, and the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site. Each place has a full schedule of activities to discover and experience Sault Ste. Marie's Culture.

Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site
The Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site is a Museum / Historic Site which houses 2 of the oldest stone buildings northwest of Toronto. The Heritage Discovery Centre is a part of the Site with a theatre, exhibit gallery, gift shop and accessible washrooms. Open year round to present and encourage participation in Sault Ste. Marie's heritage. Our museum plays host to many Cultural Tourism events, Festivals and Events.
