Organizer

Linda Laforge

When portrait and caricature artist Linda Laforge isn't putting smiles on faces drawing caricatures or creating unique, live digital art, she’s creating in her studio listening to podcasts or old movies as background noise. Linda was a member of the Barrie Arts Committee and is a founding member and organizer for Word Up, a local all genres reading series since 2014. Her paintings have been shown at the Barrie Art Club, the MacLaren Art Centre and were in the “Unity in Diversity” Multicultural Art Show in the Silo Gallery at the The Museum of Dufferin. Much of her work is focused on her concerns for climate change.
