Yoga 🧘♀️ (Beginner - Intermediate)
Beginning with a focus on breath and mindfulness, focus on the Sacral chakra and throat chakra for beginner-intermediate yoga techniques. This will help to balance our free flowing creativity and thoughtful expressions, ending with some quiet meditation. Encouraging everyone to let go of judgement and get playful within their practice. With of course a friendly reminder that yoga is a practice not a performance and practice is the perfect time to let go, get playful and even experiment. This is something you do for yourself, so give yourself exactly what you need with some gentle guidance.
Sketchbook journaling ✍️
You like the idea of artistic visual journaling or drawing, but don’t always know where to begin. Here we begin with a reminder that just like yoga is a practice of connecting mind, body and soul, our sketchbooks are a place to practice manifesting our thoughts and ideas. And that stumbling is only a part of the process that makes us stronger. Here we work on the art of practicing and letting go of our expectations to really allow ourselves to access our minds and put them on paper in a fun visual way.
**Family friendly event for all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
**COVID friendly reminder to be mindful, wear a mask off mat and leave enough space between your mat and others when setting up in the park.
**Programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement or extreme weather conditions.

Imagine Bee
Hello I am Imagine Bee, or otherwise known as Becky. I am a visual artist from Halton Hills. You can check out some of my work over at the Helson Gallery this coming September. I've studied previously with Sheridan and The University of Toronto. I've been practicing yoga personally for 10 years, but only recently during the COVID-19 lock downs I decided to obtain my Yoga Alliance Teacher certification online and begin sharing this passion with others.
I've personally found that yoga and mediation can really can help me calm my mind and open myself up to new ideas. Yoga really can help to not only exercise your body but also your mind.
If this sounds like something for you please join us and register today!
