About

Learn about the creative options that working with firing clay offers! Watch pottery being "thrown" on a wheel, and learn about how you can make wonderful works with just your hands from a single ball of clay. You can learn more about the "fired arts" - pottery and glass fusing - and how the heat of a kiln can transform creative works into durable and functional pieces of art that can be enjoyed every day.

Visitors will be welcome to browse our studio and speak with staff about the options our creative hub can offer to participants of all ages and abilities: drop-in pottery painting and glass fusing, fired arts courses for kids and adults, one-day workshops in various mediums (clay working, pottery painting techniques, canvas painting, mixed media and glass) and kids camps.

We hope our Culture Days visitors will find out why we believe that art in our laid back environment can help with relationship building and personal well-being, in addition to being a whole lot of FUN!
