About
The Love-In is a community art event where everyday Manitobans can make their very own love notes. These are the Love Notes that will be delivered during the Love Bomb in October for World Mental Health Day.
Participants will also be able to make their own instruments that will be used during the Love Notes installation during Nuit Blanche.
Organizer
The Love Notes Campaign
The Love Notes Campaign transforms public spaces into canvasses of compassion, using positive affirmations to elevate mental health awareness in Winnipeg and throughout Manitoba. Our campaign runs each year from Canada's Mental Health Week in May to World Mental Health Day in October. Our vision is to use creativity, connection, collaboration, and community to help every Manitoban Heal Loudly...Together.
In the months leading up to World Mental Health Day, the Love Notes Campaign will align with arts and nonprofit organizations to host “Love-Ins,“ where people can come and contribute words of affirmation and artwork that will be delivered during the Love Bomb. Again, our goal is to have representation from organizations from across the city.
Our Love Notes Challenge from July 1-15, encourages Manitobans to send words of love and affirmation to each other. Similar to other awareness challenges, each post will challenge three friends, while raising funds for the Love Notes.
Our partners in the Love Notes Campaign are CMHA - Manitoba and Winnipeg and Art City.
