About
Come to experience a beautiful collage and augmented reality exhibit, and the works of Ghazal Majidi, NVRC Digital Artist in Resident. Five of the community created collage pieces have been brought to life through animation and AR. In animating the pieces, the artist used a variety of techniques, including 3D animation, stop-motion, and generative AI. They are mounted on the wall on your way to the second floor in the John Braithwaite Community Centre in North Vancouver for everyone to enjoy.
To experience the AR-enhanced pieces, viewers can scan the QR codes next to each work and watch the collages come alive through whimsical animation on their phones. Your imagination will be ignited as you see the dragons soar or the fox come to life right before your eyes!
This showing is available for viewing 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 5:00pm on the weekends.
