Directions: By Car: Take the Hwy 401 to Liberty Street (exit 432), follow the exit to Liberty Street and take a right turn onto Baseline Road. In 200m, take a left turn onto Simpson Avenue, head north and watch for Soper Creek Park at the bend of the hill on Simpson Ave.

The VAC is a partially accessible venue with an accessible washroom. Accessible parking is available on site. The front entrance can be accessed by a ramp and an outward-opening door. The Loft Gallery on the 3rd floor is not wheelchair accessible.
About
The Visual Arts Centre of Clarington (VAC) is thrilled to celebrate the artists from our 41st Juried Art Show Exhibition at this year’s Awards Ceremony. This year’s exhibition showcases the work of 35 artists from across the Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area. Eight cash prizes are awarded between two categories- Youth and Adult- including six juried Excellence Prizes and two People’s Choice Awards selected by the visiting public. All are welcome to attend the exhibition for in-person voting before the Awards Reception.
The awards are as follows:
Youth Awards
Three Youth Excellence Awards: $200.00 each
People’s Choice Award (voted on by the public): $100.00 each
Adult Awards
Best in Show: $600.00
Two Excellence Awards: $200.00 each
People’s Choice Award (voted on by the public): $100.00
