We invite children and youth to creatively share their family traditions, cultural values and stories creatively in any medium they choose. (Visual Art, digital art, video, audio, literary works and other forms of storytelling are all examples of possible submissions). Submissions due September 11th.

All physical artwork will be displayed at the Pincher Creek Municipal Library for a special exhibit on September 23rd and 24th. Submissions will also be digitally displayed online at www.thelebel.ca and remain online year round.

Illustrating Our Culture- Through Our Children’s Eyes is part of the celebrations occurring throughout the province during Alberta Culture Days 2021. Alberta Culture Days, September 1st- 30th, is about discovering, experiencing and celebrating our unique blend of peoples and passions, and the importance of culture to a healthy and vibrant province.
