"Hemantika" is a trip down memory lane in which Sathee: The Musical Voyagers presents the golden era of Indian popular music featuring the icon Hemanta Mukherjee. We are excited to present some classics that the legend has sung/composed, in our own style to rediscover the sheer musical genius in each of those songs. This program was presented virtually on MAY 1, 2021. Here are some excerpts of the program.

We are honoured and very excited to have the famed singer and performer, SASHA GHOSHAL joining us in this musical endeavour.

Sathee: The Musical Voyagers

We are a musical band from Greater Toronto Area presenting variety of music from different genres. Our musical endeavours involve experimentation of rediscovering popular songs in "Sathee way". In doing this our vision is to present familiar melodies and musical pieces in our own unique interpretation. Our songs bridge musical genres separated by generations, geographical barriers, languages and cultures.
