Explore downtown Lethbridge and beyond to discover art and artists, in this gentle walking tour of downtown on Friday, September 27 & Saturday, September 28!
With over 28 locations in Lethbridge, you are sure to discover something new! Buskers are positioned throughout the downtown to entertain you on your walk! On Friday, be sure to visit City Hall to see the impressive annual display from the Lethbridge Centennial Guild of Weavers. Demonstrations from the Chinook Woodturners Guild and the Lethbridge Handicraft Guild of Weavers at Casa will give you some insight into the artistic process. On Saturday, stop by Big John Books for a local author reading or try your hand at drawing live models at Drunken Sailor. Outside of the core, the Etsy Handmade Market is at La Cite' des Prairies, skunk sculpting with Leila Armstrong is the Lethbridge Art Gallery's Culture Vulture Activity and the Blackfoot Family Lodge presents an exhibition by local Indigenous artists.
As you visit each location, have your Stomp n' Stamp ballot marked to enter to win an original piece of art.
