About

A “Fabric of Time: Past, Present, Future” will take you through the creativity, cultural significance and artistic foundations of quilting.

Starting in the mid-nineteenth century and traveling light speed to the future, a display of quilts will enable participants to see how times have changed and understand the catalyst for those changes.

You will be taken on a timeless journey of discovery into quilts and quilting workmanship.

This is a preregistered, free event on Zoom (online only). Please contact [email protected] for more information.

Organizer

Oakville Quilters' Guild

The Oakville Quilters' Guild aims to: promote fellowship, knowledge sharing and the enjoyment of quilting through involvement in the guild, motivate fellow quilters to expand their love of quilting by offering inspiration through meetings and guest speakers, and preserve and continue the traditions and culture of quilting and quilt making and to introduce this art form to the public.

Our meetings are the third Thursday of the month (except July, August and December). We also have a lending library for members, social sewing events, workshops and challenges.
