In-person Fibre & textile arts Intercultural Sculpture & Installation Storytelling Writing & literature

As a response to the isolation of COVID-19 stay-home measures, Gimme Shelter was created to convey a sense of peace and solace, just like a child feels inside a homemade blanket fort. Join our Artist-in-Residence, Jennie Johnston, to visit the blanket fort and add your own words of calm and tranquility. Speak another language? Write out a word on provided cards and attach them to the blanket as we expand the messages to everyone in our community.
