About

As part of Culture Days in Oakville, a special colouring contest invites participants of all ages to bring a unique design to life—created exclusively for the event by artist Yen Linh Thai. Renowned for her vibrant public murals and community-driven projects, including leading Oakville’s Youth Mural Project at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, Linh’s illustration celebrates creativity, diversity, and the spirit of togetherness. The contest encourages artistic exploration and self-expression, offering a fun and inclusive way for residents to engage with the arts. Completed entries may be showcased during Culture Days festivities, highlighting Oakville’s commitment to fostering cultural connection through hands-on participation. Colouring pages can be picked up at Oakville Recreation and Cultural Centres throughout Culture Days and should be returned to your local centre by October 12. Prizes will be awarded!
