About
La plume et le pinceau is a live creative improv game combining drawings and words organized by the Association des auteur·e·s du Manitoba français (AAMF) in partnership with Les Éditions du Blé and the Maison des artistes visuels francophones (MAVF).
La plume et le pinceau lasts four rounds. During each round, where the visual artists are paired with a different writer, the game master provides a theme and two words. The visual artists have two minutes to start their drawings followed by the writers who also have two minutes to write their texts alongside the drawings. The visual artists then have an additional minute to finish their drawings followed by the writers who also have a minute to finish their text. The finished works are then presented to the public.
