About

All ages are welcome at this introduction to Scottish Country Dancing. This traditional social dance form is a cousin to Contra dance, American Square dance, and Irish Ceili dance. The emphasis is on patterns, and interactions with groups of usually 6 to 8 people, and above all, having fun!

Note that while Scottish Country Dance traditionally has a "men's role" and a "women's role" we will be teaching in a gender free format.
