About

The Cowichan Performing Arts Centre is proud to present Oktopus, a free concert event as part of BC Culture Days on Sunday, October 15 at 7:30pm. Admission is free and donations are encouraged. All donations will go to the Cowichan Intercultural Society.

The eight virtuoso musicians that form Oktopus offer a festive and frenzied show that is both deeply melancholic and studded with humour and story. Oktopus' music is undeniably rooted in the klezmer tradition, which reflects the rich history of Jewish Easter Europeans, with its persecutions and its celebrations. Patrons must reserve their free ticket by going online at www.cowichanpac.ca or by calling 250-746-CPAC (2722).
