About
The City of Surrey welcomes Maria Arroyo as the “Farm Artist” for Fall 2025 at Historic Stewart Farm!
Maria is a resident of Surrey and an avid watercolourist. Her project, Birds at the Farm, explores the many species of birds who frequent the Farm’s grounds. In this role, Arroyo will exhibit her watercolour masterpieces at a 2-month exhibition in Stewart Hall.
Drop in to view the Birds at the Farm exhibit Tuesdays to Sundays from 12pm (noon) to 4:00pm.
Maria will also offer weekly, free “paint-along” sessions for the public! Artists of all ages are invited to join her in painting a “bird of the week” – no previous art skills are needed, and participants can bring their own supplies or use those provided! Saturdays from 2:00 to 3:00pm.
