Directions: Free kid-friendly activities are taking place throughout the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) such as hands-on workshops in the OAG and LabO classrooms 1201 and 1202 and the Art Tent in the KPMG Courtyard outside. The Animation for Young Audiences screenings are taking place in the Alma Duncan Salon in the OAG.
Offered in English.
Wheelchair accessible and has gender-neutral washrooms.

Family Day presented by Shaw Rocket Fund

A day for families at the Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF)!
The OIAF is partnering with Shaw Rocket Fund again to present the Family Day program as a way for young animation fans and their families to get a taste of a real animation festival. Tickets are free for kids 12 and under! The day begins with the Animation for Young Audiences competition screenings which feature a collection of kid-friendly animated short films that the whole family can enjoy. Be sure to explore the rest of the building as there will be hands-on workshops for kids keen to learn more and try their creative skills with animation in the adjacent LabO space, as well as activities throughout the OAG including the Discovery Card gallery search game and OAG Art Tent in the KPMG Courtyard.
