Are you ready to take a walk along the lovely trails of Brantford, right next to the peaceful flow of the Grand River, all while being inspired by the amazing work of local artists? If that sounds like a perfect day out, then mark your calendar for Culture Days on the Trails.
Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. At the end of each September, millions of people attend thousands of free participatory arts and culture events across the country both in-person and online. Culture Days programs invite the public to get hands-on and go behind-the-scenes to highlight the importance of arts and culture in our communities.
This year Brantford is hosting Culture Days on the Trails, which will take place on Saturday September 23rd from 10am-1pm . The festivities will take place along the trail beginning at the Hardy Road parking lot and ending at Lafayette Ave., which runs behind Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant and the Brantford Golf and Country Club. Attendees will be invited to walk along the trail and attend 8-10 mini concerts and performances along the 2.6 km stretch. This isn't your typical art exhibit; it's an interactive and immersive experience.
Local artists will transform this natural setting into a world of artistic wonder. Their creations will be spread along the path, ready to captivate your senses.

Location: From the Hardy Road parking lot to Lafayette Ave.
Rain Date: Adverse weather conditions, the event will take place on Sunday, September 24th.
Parking
Park your car and start your walk at any of the access points, including: Hardy Rd. Parking lot, Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant, or street parking around Lafayette Ave. The largest parking area is at the Glenhyrst. You can also join the trail from any of the connecting trail points by foot or by bike.
