The Stories of Us project aims to empower newcomers to learn English through their own stories. Listen to their cultural stories and discover new traditions in this shared learning space.
Barrie Public Library is a proud supporter of the arts and culture community in Barrie; we provide informational, recreational and cultural resources for all ages including books, magazines, DVDs, electronic books, downloadable audiobooks, downloadable magazines and movies, and internet access. We offer a variety of programs for children and teens including children's storytime programs. In addition, we offer adult programs such as workshops to introduce specialized online resources, as well as information sessions on many topics from health to travel and business.
