“I would recommend any and all artists to apply for the Ambassador Program as it was a great way for me to get better connected in my community and expand my network. It is so great that there is a program like this that supports emerging artists with their creative ideas which is an opportunity that doesn’t regularly come up. I would find it really hard to present anything without support which is hard to get as an emerging artist. I would be faced with lots of barriers and organizations being very tentative to support and work with non-established artists. Without programs like the Ambassador Program how are we supposed to grow and become more established. We have gotten a lot closer and even outside of Omineca Arts Centre and mentorship related things, we have developed a really lovely friendship.
