Directions: The event is free. The Saturday walking tours need to be booked via Eventbrite. There is free parking at the venue site. Public transport. Take the 181 bus from Moody Centre station.

The Ioco Ghost Town Day Festival began in 2002 by a group of individuals the advocated for saving the heritage of the town site. In 2002 the area was designated a heritage site, and Ioco Ghost town days began as a celebration. This is a free community event that is put on by the Port Moody Heritage Society.

Sunday October 3rd - Community Festival at Ioco Road and 1st Avenue- It will look a bit different this year with a focus on performers throughout the day and all PHO guidelines being followed. Play our Amazing Race through history and walk through the Ioco townsite to learn about the history of it and be entered in to win a prize, enjoy logging demonstrations, magic shows, music and more.

Port Moody Heritage Society

The Port Moody Station Museum is owned and operated by the Port Moody Heritage Society. It is the Society’s main focus to promote increased awareness and knowledge of Port Moody’s heritage and history. Exhibitions at the Museum include the Port Moody CPR Station, community displays, the Heritage Garden, Enchanted Garden, Meditation garden, WW1 Trench, a SE5A plane, and the restored 1921 railcar, “Venosta”.
