From Writing to Publishing: Publishing Process in SK

First Nations University of Canada and in its Multi-Purpose Room Regina, Saskatchewan

Littérature et "spoken word", Autochtone — Entretien et discussion

Have you ever wondered why some writing gets published and other writing does not? Have you ever read an anthology and wondered about the selection process? This event provides the space to inquire about selection and standard in Saskatchewan publishing with Saskatchewan publishers through discussion. Come out to listen and come out to be curious. Jesse Rae Archibald-Barber will also be performing a reading. Recently the ground-breaking anthology "Kisiskâciwan: Indigenous Voices from Where the River Flows Swiftly" was published by U of R Press. Not only is he a contributing author, he also edited and compiled the anthology. Come here him read and discuss with other publishers how what gets published influences SK culture. Bring your Questions!
