In the pretty park setting at Burr House, experience a gathering of arts, history & music at one of the oldest historical sites in Richmond Hill. Tea sittings will be ongoing during the afternoon, served inside while the Richmond Hill Concert Band will be performing in the garden for all to enjoy. Watch Burr House Spinners & Weavers and Hill Potters at work demonstrating their skills with interesting weaving and pottery techniques. An exhibit of paintings by the International Watercolour Society will be on display. The Richmond Hill Historical Society will be on hand to tell the amazing story of the restoration of the house and Guild Hall in the mid 1970's - highlighting early settlement in the area.

This event is the vision of Burr House Spinners & Weavers Guild, Hill Potters Guild, The Richmond Hill Concert Band and the Richmond Hill Historical Society joining together to create an afternoon of music, story-telling and arts at this local historic site.This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to discover the history of early settlers in the area and how 200 year old Burr House has become a hub of arts, heritage and culture.
