Burrard Inlet Marine Enhancement Society
Since 1976, our volunteers have stewarded Mossom Creek's watershed on the north shore of Port Moody. What began as a school club is now a vibrant society welcoming all ages. We raise salmon to restore local streams and we raise awareness of freshwater and marine environments. A disastrous fire in 2013 resulted in a rebuild. We now have a state-of-the-art salmon rearing facility and a terrific nature centre deep in the forest. We offer school programs and Sunday open houses.
