Join us for the second annual Gathering of Survivors of residential schools. Survivors, Intergenerational Survivors, supporters and allies are all welcome to take part in workshops, special guest speakers, healing art, and community.
A special walk to honour children who attended residential schools and their loved ones will take place on Sunday, September 30th in recognition of Orange Shirt Day.
Admission to the museum and galleries will be complimentary during this weekend, and we will host free screenings of the Virtual Tour Video of the Mohawk Institute. Watch our website, social media, and Culture Days page for announcements!

Woodland Cultural Centre
The Woodland Cultural Centre is a museum, art gallery, performance space and knowledge centre dedicated to preserving and sharing the history, heritage, cultures, contemporary arts and languages of the Haudenosaunee peoples. We are located on the site of the former Mohawk Institute Residential School, which is used to teach the history of residential schools in Canada.
